Ya! Monyet Belanda - That's how we called long-nosed monkey in here. Why Belanda? I'm not sure, probably because Dutch people was the first Caucasian people who visited Kalimantan earlier - no offense Steve, haha!
But first, before we talk about it. We went for breakfast at Depot Miki - all eyes on us! Yup, that's my first experience - all people instantly staring at us on the first step we enter the place - literary all eyes - everyone! Haha! Weird - like they never see bule before -_-! Today we had breakfast at Depot Miki. I got soto banjar and he got nasi kuning with egg and fish - taste so so.

Beaching before mangroving ;p
So, after weird staring breakfast we went to the beach - the one and only closest free beach ever! Haha! Banua Patra. It was pretty good, we walk along the beach until the rocky place. Then we are heading to mangrove! Yay!

Mangroving for the first time!
Yes, I used to lived close this neighborhood for almost 17 years, but I never ever visit this mangrove. Funny! In fact, the first mangrove I ever visited was in Surabaya. Back to Margomulyo mangrove, this place located near the "fisherman village". The entrance is quite hidden, you have to walk pass the houses. And ask someone about the gate keeper, in this case, we ask to the local at the last house before the entrance. Don't forget to give donation, so they can take care of this place.
Soon we enter the place, it's quite relaxing. We saw small colourful crabs, some fish who like unevolve pokemon - haha! birds, and also we found snake - who just jump into the branches -_-!

And here's the main star of this mangrove, Monyet Belanda. Haha! We are so lucky to see them, they are soo BIG - I'm scared!!! We only see them from distance - of course because I had bad experience with monkeys. We also saw some small monkey too. The only this that we missed is the crocodile - which we can see it later in other place.
After walking around and feels like national geographic photographer, we went out to check the other side of this mangrove. We met some kids and one of them is posing for us, haha! Cool kid!

So, it was pretty fun! The rest of the day we just went to the mall and watch a movie. Tomorrow, we will visit the Samboja Lodge to see the Orang Utan. So I wil see you in the next post soon - hopefully ^_^

Wow! It's been more than a year since my last post. Let's say I've been busy with my "life". Now, I'm still busy with my life anyway, but I'm trying to motivate my self to write again. So, back to topic - I actually just got back from Vietnam last week. After two weeks escape from the real life. So, I think it's the best time to write it now - before I forgot haha!

Counting the Days
We start to plan this trip earlier this year. Who are we? Well, you will know about it soon - haha! Well I actually start counting the days until we meet since June 6th 2016 - that's exactly 100 days before he fly to Indonesia. One day before he fly, his flight to Balikpapan was rescheduled and we have to get new flight because he can't make it - what a chaotic night for us T-T!

Big Day!
September 15th 2016, I have to pick him up at the airport - excitement and nervous. I went to the airport way to early - haha! It feels like one hour of torture until finally see him from distance - directly with bare eyes, not through camera, haha!

FINALLY, WELCOME TO BALIKPAPAN!

My first impression - well, he is a nice real human and tall ;p haha! Because I can see him from really really far distance. It was abit "krik-krik" momen at the first time, but went well, haha! Had some dinner and drop him to the hotel. So, I will continue to next post - soon - hopefully!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! So today I'm goin to continue my adventure in Japan (Yes! I'm really in the mood of writing now^^).  Second day in Tokyo, as we planned before, we will visit the Meiji Shrine. Before heading to Harajuku station, we went to get breakfast around Osaki station (I forgot to mention that Hanako's apartment is about 15 minutes walking from there) and we got Blueberry Burger King ^^. Look at this beautiful winter flower :)
And as usual, I always feel lost, haha! But we actually in right place, really close to Meiji Shrine. After following some people, we actually made to main gate, Yay! And guess what?! It was a long walk until we reach the shrine. Haha!
The first thing we saw is this lots of big jars of sake. Look really nice :) The first one is barrel of sake wrapped in straw.
Next, another gate again and this time you will see lots of lampion :) Maybe it will look nice at night.
And, Tada!! That's the shrine we looking for ^^. The Japanese have tradition to clean their hands and mouth before entering the shrine. So, in every shire you will find a place to clean yourself ;) We tried, and it was COLD. Haha! But it's nice experience.
Since it's almost new year, you will find some women or girl wear beautiful Kimono. I met one little Oshin, hehe and ask her mum permission to take picture ;) She's so cute!
On the way back we make turn, and go to Museum Annex. I saw something yellowish from far, and guess what, we found Koyo! This is the first time seeing Koyo! Only one tree left in this area.
I was like jumping around when I saw that tree. Haha! Ask my sister to take my picture, while she grumbling, lol! See that expression?! Haha!
After taking pictures, we enter the Annex Museum. You can't take picture there, but it's nice  small museum. So, we just like about 30 minutes there, and go out walk (again!) to find the Harajuku station. Walk, walk, walk, walk.. see ya in next post!

Wohoa, what a LATE post this is. Haha! I've been pretty busy (let's say lazy) to write. So, back to Japan adventure! We arrived at Tokyo around 3pm, if I'm not mistaken. We got a little lost and still have no wifi. And finally reach our place, Hanako's apartment. Here the view from the apartment, yes! it's about 4pm and dark already.
After resting for a while, we decide to go out to look around and get some food. We still don't have any destination yet. Winter illumination is everywhere in Japan, this is the first one I ever saw in my life. Close from Hanako's apartment. Beautiful isn't it?
And we had early dinner at the train station, some chicken curry that we order from vending machine! Yum! The food doesn't actually came out from the vending machine, it's just like how we order it. But that time, there's a little problem with the machine. So we just ask the waiter.
We finally decide where to go. The closest place we could go is... Shibuya!!! Here's the famous Shibuya crossing, taken from Shibuya Station. Crowded huh?! We tried to cross it too, it's quite fun, everyone in rush, Haha!
As we still amazed with the crowded, we just walk and realize we got lost! Haha! I'm trying to find any station sign. Whenever I got lost, I just have to find any station sign. ;) So, that's the end of the day. It was quite cold night - first winter night in our life. So, tomorrow will be more excited!

Hello! Let's continue the adventure. This is my second time midnight flight and this time I got appropriate tool (new camera ;p) to take night pictures. The flight is about 00.35am, just like the flight to South Korea. I love flying with AirAsiaX (I'm not spronsered for this ;p), Haha! Because I never take other flight. The view is really nice from the up there.
This is the first time I saw empty seats, I mean lots of empty seats! Even noone seat next to me. Maybe Nagoya isn't a favorite destination, I don't know. I choose to land at Nagoya because it's position, in the center between, Tokyo and othe Kansai area. I told my sister if she wants to move next to me (we sit in different row, so we both can sit near window), but she doesn't wan to move. So, it's time to sleep now.
This is the first time I saw sunrise on flight (last time to Korea, I was totally sleeping, and didn't sit next to window ;p). I woke up around 4am, and we already in Japan area. I look outside, and it's really pretty.

Landing around 8.30 am at Chubu Centrair Airport, the weather seems nice but I was wrong. It's quite windy! I didn't take much picture in here, still shock with the weather, lol. Then, after my sister ready (put her coat) we go straight to Nagoya station.

We plan to exchange the JR Pass after arriving in Nagoya. After long walk we finally exchange it. Next plan, go to Nagoya Castle, but we can't find any available coin locker XD and our backpack to heavy (It's just day backpack but don't know why is feel heavy). So we decide to get food and go to Tokyo. Ramen!! Our first meal in Japan, good for windy weather, haha!

Waiting for shinkanzen to Tokyo. It's sunny, but windy XD.

People said, if you don't go to mount Fuji, then you not visiting Japan. Lucky, even we didn't plan to go to mount Fuji, we still be able to see it ;) in clear weather.

It's still long way to go for Japan adventure!
