It's already a year now since my first time visit South Korea, and I miss that place. So, this time I will continue about my journey in Busan. I'm so lucky! Yes! I got a chance to visit Busan, and the best thing is I got a host in Haeundae beach! Yes, I got super nice host, and he live next to Haeundae beach.

Arriving in Busan around 6 pm, I still can't believe that I already in South Korea, hehe. I read some articles about Busan before I go there, and it says that the Busan station is nice. Yes! It's a nice place with unique building. So, we went out from the building, trying to look for the subway. It's a little bit crowded outside, because there is something like demonstration or just people gathering for something, not sure.

So we walk, and pass the circle thing in front of the building to go to subway and guess what, we find our first cherry blossom!!! ^^ It was so beautiful and pink. We took some pictures, the local also take picture of the cherry blossom. I guess this is the first day cherry blossom in Busan. After taking some pictures, we take subway to Haeundae, we have to change train once if I'm not mistaken. Next, we have to walk about 20 minutes until we reach Haeundae beach. My sister was complaining, because it's cold (even it's spring already, still cold for us, tropical girls ;p) and it's getting dark.

After a long walk, we finally see the beach! It means, we are closer to Gary's place. He told me once we found the beach, just walk along the beach trying to find two glassy building. It's the cleanest beach I ever see in my life! But no coconut tree at all, so don't feel like real beach ;p

Finally we find Gary's place, but we have to wait at lobby until Gary home. We wait like 30 minutes, and finally meet him. He was really nice and have nice place. He give us a nice bedroom. After put our stuff, we talk a little, and take rest. At night, he take us for dinner and he asking what we want to eat and he suggest to eat bulgogi. He took us to fancy restaurant! ^^ I can't believe that, our first Bulgogi at fancy restaurant ^^. Gary told us, we lucky to travel to South Korea at this time, cherry blossom. And he said it's just a day or two that cherry blossom start blooming. After dinner, we back to his apartment, and he was so excited to show us around. He even show us indoor pool, just incase we want to swim in hot water, haha! We didn't even think about it. That's for one day. It was a great experience, and I will tell you what we doing on the next day on the next post!

Oh, for this late anniversary post, I will post some videos about our journey ;) It's just some photos from the adventures that I can't put all in this post. Here is the part one! Enjoy!

This year, we start earth hour like 15 minutes earlier than the schedule. Everything is off except stuff with battery like phone, camera and other dc current stuff. So, last night I just laying on bed, eating snack, writing this post from phone (and end up it didn't get posted on time ;p) while waiting for one hour until everything back to normal. I was trying to vlog but everything is too dark, flash light didn't help :p Only have this blue light with me, until dad came in and give another flashlight :p

I just install a light for my wardrobe. This light with motion sensor, but it sometimes detect wrong. Haha! Two things I just realize, that my snack package have the opposite colors with my camera and the tripod, lol! Pink and Blue. And, my wardrobe decals actually reflecting, lol.

The operator alittle bit late to turn on the electriciy, maybe it's because he have to turn on the generator in every area of this complex. Every year, I always end up sleep early on Earth hour. So, how was your earth hour this year?

It's been a while I didn't post anything. Actually so many stuff to blog, but i was too lazy XD. So last week, something bad happened. I got an accident on the way to work. Tuesday, March 26th, a beautiful sunny day, I got stung by a bee, a giant be for sure. I was riding my scooter, it was like 5 minutes to work, and then suddenly a giant bee stuck on my leg, and then, AWWW! I was shocked, thinking to stop, but I'm on the right side of the road and there's another scooter near me. So I just keep riding until office.

It was really painfull but I still can smile and tell the office boy the story, lol. Until, 5 minutes later, it feel more hurts and start swollen and feel burns. So I decide to go to clinic, near from office (I still ride my scooter ;p). They don't emergency room there, so I have to wait just like normal patient at clinic. After like 30 minutes, I finally see the doctor and tell her what happened. She just clean it up, give antiseptic and NaCl to cool down the burn feeling. So, I only got a cream, to prevent the swollen, antiseptic and bandages, and I also got a recommendation letter, so I can get off from work, it's for three days XD.

Everyone who saw me, including the nurse and the pharmacist, at clinic think I just had motorcycle accident. Haha! I told them i got stung by a bee, and one of them said, that she ever had once and it's really painfull and her husband said, just pretend it was a theraphy, lol. After that, I go back to office, pack my stuff. My coworker was laughing because of this XD. But, yeah, it was funny and painfull at the same time. Then, i went home and trying to take a rest. here's how the doctor cover my leg, lol, she said it just like when you are playing as doctor when you little, lol

Ow, on the way home, mum told me to get a milk, since the doctor didn't give me antibiotics, just to prevent if there is toxic from the bee. Look at those circle, that's where that dummy bee stung me XD. Mum told me to use a herbal honey on the circle instead of antiseptic. But it was worse, paint to the bone XD I can't barely walk and feels like something crawling under my skin, lol.

Everything is fine now, no swollen, no pain just sometimes itchy on that circle part. Until now, i still don't know what kind of bee is that. It's black and yellow, but it's not black and yellow stripes (the top picture, that is the closest kind of bee that sting me). Maybe it's bumblebee but I'm not sure. Maybe the was drunk and suddenly stuck on me XD.

Lucky, I wear jeans on that day, I was planning to wear my new dress then I change my mind before I go. I can't imagine what will happen if I don't wear jeans.

Love for the bee XD, Ninu

This weekend I was planning to continue to paint my old bookshelf, but the weather not friendly at all. It's been raining since morning XD All plan ruined.. But I got another idea. I have to paint some part of my window (I already prepare the paint few days ago). So, I want to paint this top part of the window (I don't know the English word for that part ;p). Actually it looks just fine, but I guess it didn't fit with my bedroom theme, which is white. Instead paint it all white, I'm thinking to give pattern on it. And I have been lovin' chevron pattern for a while and want it on my stuff.

So, I take the ladder and start measure it. I want it look nice and tidy, first time doing chevron, I didn't measure it. I grab my marker, ruler and paper tape and start doing it.

I only make two layers, because it was really hard to do it (I'm just too lazy to sit on the ladder for longer time). So i start to paint it. I know it won't look the best because I didn't use wood paint. I use interior paint for regular wall and maybe will spray paint it with clear color to secure it.

Now, it's time to wait until the paint is totally dry. When it's dry, I check it and give another layer. Since it's not wooden paint, I need to give more layers so it will cover everything. It also look nice with fully white color ;) After all part is fully covered and dry, it's time to peel off the tape. I was worry it the line won't be clean, just like my first trial. I did press the edges of the tape, but it still happened XD

Becuase it's a water base paint, and I paint it on oil base paint it more easier to clean the mess. I just take cotton buds and water, then start to clean it carefully. The paint is easily peeled off XD. After that, clean it one more time with wet towel. And here is the final result.

Look more tidy, even line not perfectly straight but it looks nice for far ;p So, this is my weekend DIY this weekend, what's yours?

So, last weekend was a lazy weekend. I have been wanting to do some DIY project since two weeks ago. But, lazy me, I have done nothing. Until last weekend, in the boring evening, I encourage my self to do something. I've been thinking to paint my old bookshelf long time ago. Because it's pretty damage from last time, I sent it back home. Last weekend, I did a trial to create chevron pattern on it.

This is the stuff you will need for this project :
Paper tape
Scissor
Pencil, to make center mark.
Spray paint, I use white glossy color
Nail polish remover and cotton bud

How to :
At first I was like, okay, let's do this. That's why I directly give center mark and put the tapes. After two tapes, I think I need to knock it down, to make it more easier. So I did it and finish the rest of the tapes.

If you want good chervon pattern, better measure it. I didn't really measure it, I just give center mark. As you can see, the pattern have some different space. Because I'm trying to hide those ugly sides.

So now, it's time to take it outside and paint it. You can use any paint you want, but i prefer spray paint (because I have this last can from painting my wardrobe ;p)

After spray paint it, let it dry under the sun. It was a little cloudy that day, and dad say it probably wont result good paint. I wait about 1 hour and check it. It's a little uneven on some part, so spray paint it again and wait another 1 hour.

When it already dry, peeled off the tape. I was too excited peeling it off, and I ripped some part XD. Also, I just realize some part didn't really create straight lines, maybe I didn't press the edge correct. So, I use my nail remover and cotton bud to clean the messy part.

Look nice! I will finish the other part this weekend . Fighting!

It's really nice of her, send me two postcards. The first one, you can say it handmade postcard,  its one of the par t of a set drawn by Primary school pupils. The pupils make it to help a little girl, she is ill. The caption in the card "Uma Crianca e uma flor. Vamos ajuda-la a creser" means "a child is a flower, let's help him/her grow". It's really touch my heart ;') It's drawn by a 3rd grade girl named Ana.

And the other postcard from Ana is a cork postcard, which is really nice, I love it! I love the postcard texture ^^ The cork postcard was a birthday gift from her ;) She said she send me a gift, a bookmark, with her first postcard, the one that never arrive or haven't arrive yet. Oh, and the stamps also beautiful ;) I like the one with portugal china thing.

The last postcard from Hannah, in Germany. It was private swap. If you read this Hannah, I'm really sorry, I haven't send you postcard XD I will send it soon. I should have send one for postcrossing and one for private swap. But again, I was too lazy to go to post office. Sorry. This monday, is my dad birthday. As usual, we have no plan at all because dad don't like to celebrate it. Usually we just have lunch together somewhere. But this year, it's on Monday XD don't know if we can go out on that day. So, my sister text me in the morning and told me to get cake. We usually get cake after work if the family member having birthday. Since my sister office relocated into the "jungle", she never go with me. Since I went home alone, i can't bring the cake with me. I told her to pick up the cake, with dad lol. So, it's not a surprise cake anymore ;p

So, that's the cake, Paradiso Cake. I asked the waitress is this fruit cake and she said its different. And I believe her, until we tried it at home. It's FRUIT CAKE! Doh! She always say the wrong thing everytime I ask about the cakes in there. But as always, the cake is yummy ^^

And, you must be wondering why it says Papa & Mama hehe, because we don't have a chance to get cake for Mom birthday. My brother was at hospital, after bike accident on my birthday and he stay there until January 3rd if I'm mistaken, which mean everyone also busy take care my brother and his new baby born girl on my birthday and Mom .

Back to topic, hehe, that day also the second time Dad hold baby Zee (Yeah, second time since she was born). Haha! I made him hold her and sit on his lap lol! And take picture, of course! I just notice on my google+ they put autoawesome on one of the pic. Look! Showing much love ;p

So, Happy Birthday Pa! Have a great year and may Allah bless you! I love you.

Saturday, I was trying to clean up my bedroom, because it's been days since we put on the new bed stuff and I haven't finish reorganize my stuff. I got new dressing table, Yay! Even I have to give my big mirror to my sister because my room already full and it didn't match with the white theme. I have been thinking to put put my brushes in brushes holder. So, today, I finally did it! Here the stuff you need :
  • Jar or container, I use candle jar
  • Salt
  • Food coloring
  • Plastic bags

To do's :

  1. Measure how much salt you need for your jar/container. If you want the brushes steady, then u have to fill up the jar.
  2. Next, put the salt in plastic bags and add few drops food coloring. You can use more colors, this time I use one color because I want to make gradation. The more drops will create more dark color.
  3. When you got the right color, put it in the jar. Done!

It looks nice on my dressing table! :)
